Sinds 2025 werk ik als Video Editor bij Talpa Network. Hier monteer ik dagelijks items voor live televisie-uitzendingen in Avid Media Composer. Door de strakke deadlines van de dagelijkse uitzendingen moet ik snel kunnen schakelen en onder tijdsdruk kwalitatief werk afleveren.
Voor ieder item ontvang ik het beeldmateriaal van de camjo en verslaggever. Vervolgens bouw ik het verhaal volledig zelf op: ik selecteer de juiste beelden, bepaal de volgorde van het item, schrijf het script voor de voice-over en zorg ervoor dat alles inhoudelijk klopt en prettig loopt. De onderwerpen zijn heel divers en variëren van films, muziek en rode loper-evenementen tot sport, entertainment en andere actuele onderwerpen. Geen dag is hetzelfde en elk item vraagt weer om een andere aanpak.
Deze functie heeft mij geleerd om creatief én inhoudelijk snel beslissingen te nemen, terwijl ik de kwaliteit van de montage altijd hoog houd.

Since 2025, I have been working as a Video Editor at Talpa Network. I edit daily segments for live television broadcasts using Avid Media Composer. Because of the tight deadlines of the daily broadcasts, I need to work quickly and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
For each segment, I receive the footage from the camjo and reporter. I then build the entire story myself: I select the right footage, determine the structure of the segment, write the script for the voice-over, and make sure everything works well both in terms of content and flow. The subjects are very diverse and range from films, music and red carpet events to sports, entertainment and other current topics. No day is the same, and each segment requires a different approach.
This role has taught me to make quick creative and editorial decisions while always maintaining a high standard of editing quality.
